Emmaüs and Relais- Métisse recycled fabric insulation material

The French charity organisation Le Relais (Emmaus) runs the collection and manufacturing process of 'Metisse', an architectural isolation material made with recycled clothing.

Multicolored scraps of fabric and fibres are visible in the thick mass of blue dominated felt.
Each scrap represents someone who took the initiative to pass on the clothing for recycling and there are hundreds of visible scraps in each square meter of 'Metisse'.

This is a material that tells its own positive, sustainable story with total honesty.
Made in France, the manufacturing process is non profit based and puts jobs and people first.

Different panel and roll thicknesses are available (up to 200mm) and its softness makes it much easier to work with than other isolation materials.
Other applications should be possible.......
